Gabby Seratti
Apprenticeship Coordinator
Gabby joined CAPS as Apprenticeship Coordinator, supporting the growth of CAPS’ Sustainability Specialist youth apprenticeship program. She combines her experience in environmental education and project management to expand opportunities for young people to pursue careers in sustainability.
From a young age, Gabby developed an appreciation for natural systems, leading her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from California Baptist University. She became a Science Educator with Inside the Outdoors, an environmental education program at the Orange County Department of Education.
When the program faced significant funding cuts during the COVID-19 pandemic, Gabby transitioned into the technology industry. She advanced to project and operations management roles at Cisco Systems and Keysight Technologies, managing customer-facing engineering teams supporting enterprise and government clients.
Driven by a desire to return to work supporting youth and environmental stewardship, Gabby joined CAPS to help grow its youth apprenticeship program. She lives in Long Beach, California, where she enjoys spending time in nature with her partner and two dogs and volunteering with local sustainability initiatives.
